and information for Shooting Star coaches. All coaches need to complete the application
form. A criminal record check can be completed by visiting the local RCMP detachment. The Child Abuse Consent
for Disclosure Registry forms needs to be completed. Coaches from the past season need to complete on an annual
basis the Coaching Offence Declaration.
Keep in mind that some of the material on this webpage is confidential and
should be treated as such. Any file with confidential material is strictly for Shootng Star use.
Meet with Parents
A Parent's meeting early on in the season is good way to set yourself
up for success. Two peices of information need to be shared with parents and players are the Basics Information Sheet and the Players Uniform Info Sheet. Parents and players need to be given a break down of needs and expectations of you, as the coach, and the Association.
